Reservoir Geologist, Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) 

Uğur Yüce is currently working for Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) as a reservoir geologist, specifically petrophysicist. He received his BSc in Geological Engineering from Akdeniz University, Turkey in 2010 and his MSc in Geosciences from University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, US in 2016.

He has been involved in many onshore and offshore projects related to carbonate and clastic reservoirs of Southeastern and Northwestern part of Turkey. His challanges are mainly characterizing gas bearing clastic and volcanic reservoirs in the Thrace Basin and Western Black Sea Basin of Turkey, formation evaluation of heavy oil carbonate reservoirs.

His special interests include reservoir surveillance, advanced formation evaluation, by-passed pay zones, shaly sand, thin bed, low resistivity pay analysis, wireline formation testers, and machine learning in petrophysics. He is the member of Society of Petroleum Engineers, London Petrophysical Society, and Turkish Association of Petroleum Geologists.
